NEWS

AHIMA Needs You to Advocate for ICD-10
AHIMA is asking all of its members to take a proactive role in helping maintain the October 1, 2013, compliance date for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS by sending letters to the Health and Human Services secretary and CMS administrator. To date, over 350 letters have been sent from the general membership of AHIMA and another 160 have been sent from HIM educators. We are pleased with these results but know that we can do much better. AHIMA has two letters in the Advocacy Action Center of the Advocacy Assistant: one letter for all AHIMA members and a second letter specific to HIM educators. Click here to go directly to both letters. Send your letter today!
