The North Carolina Health Information Management Association (NCHIMA) represents more than 2,000 committed health information professionals who are employed in such roles as HIM Directors, information analysts, quality management analysts, coders, risk managers, compliance officers, consultants, educators and technicians. The Association is organized to provide member services, such as continuing education and communication. We also work to educate the public about the nature of our profession, and to advise the public on important issues such as health information and privacy.
