Health Information Management Department
The Coding Educator plans, implements and educates Coding and CDI staff with ongoing changes to ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS. Educates staff on AHA Coding Clinic changes and Official Coding guidelines. Coordinates external coding audits with Management. Maintains ICD-10 spreadsheet and continuing education spreadsheets. Assists with other coding initiatives to include but not limited to DRG reconciliation, outside audits and additional coder or staff education.
Hours of Work: 5 Days/8 Hours
