The webinar will explore key areas of operating an effective and efficient clinical documentation program, key areas of focus, and proving return on investment from a quality and revenue perspective.
Speaker
MeShawn is a senior consultant with a large consulting firm. MeShawn possesses robust and diverse experience in provider and payer auditing, clinical documentation improvement, data analysis, compliance, data governance, ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding and billing. MeShawn is a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) and maintains her credential through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), of which she is an active member and volunteer for the Information Governance Practice Council. MeShawn is also an active member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and volunteer with the Revenue Cycle Improvement Task Force. MeShawn also possesses a Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University-Chicago School of Law. In addition, MeShawn has written and contributed to a number of articles and practice briefs across the healthcare industry.
