Behavioral Health Section
June 2018 TBD
“Three keys to more abundant living: caring about others, daring for others, sharing with others.”
–William Arthur Ward
Most of us learn from trial and error, experience. Others learn from what they have been taught by others. Volunteering and sharing a skill that you have with others, it may or may not have to do with the actual volunteering project, is a way for you to learn more about yourself and for others to learn about the great person that you are.
We want your experience with this section to be a professionally life changing and positive experience with our profession, so that is why your membership, your time and your voice are the most important tools of the Behavioral Health Section.
We need you!!!!
Consider volunteering for the Executive Board for NCHIMA-BHS in the coming year. Those of us on the current Board have rotated through just about all of the positions and are pretty worn out from repeated years….some over 4 years on the Board.
The answer is simple – VOLUNTEER!! This year is and will be a year to spotlight and encourage volunteerism within our section.
What we choose to focus on will determine our outcome as a section. That is why volunteerism is very important and listed below are some of the many volunteers for this next year who will represent the 2014-2015 Executive Board.
As always, I count it a pleasure and honor to serve as Coordinator for the NCHIMA Behavioral Health Section.
